As a manufacturer and distributor of only the highest quality packaged gas cartridges and cylinders, Leland Gas Technologies is responsible for over 100 million gas products per year; small CO2, N2 and Argon cartridges that have internal water capacities ranging from 0.50mL to over 2,200mL.
Gas cartridges and cylinders are made from steel and in many cases, have welded closures meaning they have extremely low leak rates often giving this class of packaged gas cartridge over 20 years of useful life when stored properly.
Leland Gas Technologies’ products include gases of high purity and stringent cleaning capabilities. Pure gases for calibration in compact handheld sizes achieve as high as 99.999% (vol/vol) purity levels in mass production. This accomplishment has been peer reviewed and verified by leaders in the gas industry as well as analytical device manufactures around the world.
High quality gas pressure regulators take the pressure from the gas source, in the case of Leland Gas Technologies, a small cartridge or cylinder, and reduces that pressure to a usable level. Leland’s regulators and high-pressure valves can easily take 2700psi and reduce it down to 5psi with ease and accuracy. One of the most interesting features of Leland’s highly durable aluminum, brass and stainless-steel regulators and valves is that they have an integrated puncture pin to access the gas from their cartridges and cylinders.
Leland Gas Technologies knows the science of gases and provides insight into the best handling and distribution of gas for their customers. SpaceX, NASA, and the US Military consult with Leland to develop useful products that serve to protect and enhance many types of missions; underwater, on land, in the air and in space.
The International Space Station (ISS) has been utilizing Leland’s gas cartridges and regulators for safety equipment, science experiments and calibration of analysis devices. Future manned missions to the Moon are planned and include Leland Helium cartridges to operate certain equipment.
